Armed with a Diploma in Hospitality and Catering Services from Protea College in Cape Town and a Certificate in Food & Beverage Management from the American Motel & Hotel Association, he has honed his craft across renowned venues, including the Grande Roche Hotel in Paarl, Villa Bel Monde Hotel and the Capetonian Hotel in Cape Town, and the iconic Victoria & Alfred Hotel. His journey also includes celebrated establishments like Hunters Country House, Grootbos Nature Reserve, B-Restaurant, and Monneaux Restaurant at Franschhoek Country House & Villas. This rich tapestry of experience has equipped Chef Louis with the skills to elevate Oase’s dining offerings, ensuring every dish is a masterpiece that delights the senses.
