Introduction
7 Star Lodges (“we” or “7 Star Lodges”) is operated by 7 Star Oase (Pty) Ltd.
The services, reservations and use of the site and property are provided to you subject to the Terms and Conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions” or “Agreement”) and our Privacy Policy, and any other rules and policies set out on the site and on the property thereafter. The Terms and Conditions below and any other rules or policies set out on the Site comprise the entire agreement between you and 7 Star Lodges and supersede all prior agreements between us.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance
Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully. By completing the registration process, accessing or using the site you accept and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Guest Responsibilities
As a guest you are responsible for your own and accompanied guest’s conduct and decorum during your stay at 7 Star Lodges, you must not: (i) defame, abuse, harass or threaten others; (ii) make any bigoted, hateful or racially offensive statements; (iii) advocate illegal activity or discuss illegal activities with the intent to commit them; (iv) post or distribute any material that infringes and/or violates any right of a third party or any law; (v) post or distribute any vulgar, obscene, discourteous or indecent language or images; (vi) advertise or sell to, or solicit others; You shall remain solely responsible for the conduct and decorum of your party and shall indemnify and hold the Indemnified Parties harmless for the actions of your party. We reserve the right of admission and removal of your person and party at any time and for any reason.
Modification to Services Provided; Terms and Conditions
You acknowledge and agree that we may, with or without notice, modify the venues due to operational requirements.
Payment Terms; Refunds; Cancellation
7 Star lodges requires a 30% deposit to confirm all reservation. No reservations are final and may be canceled at any time until the full 30% deposit is received. Guests will receive a confirmation of a reservation as soon as deposits are processed.
Full payment for reservations must be received no later than 45 days prior to check in. 7 Star Lodges reserves the right to cancel reservations without refund if the full balance is not received 45 days prior to check in. Guests with a payment method on-file with the 7 Star Lodges will be automatically changed the balance amount 30 days prior to check in. Please let us know if you would like to use a different payment method ahead of this date.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.
Totals listed here are estimated based on current taxes and exchange rates (if applicable) and do not include additional fees/charges that may be incurred during your stay.
At check in, we will verify your check-out date. Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. Should you choose to depart early, price may be subject to change.

Refunds are applicable to the following criteria based on the number of days before the date of arrival.

Reservations canceled less than 48 hours after the initial booking is made will receive a full refund provided the booking check in date is more than 14 days after the booking is made.

If cancelling less than 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.

If cancelling less than 31 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total, however guests may select alternative dates subject to availability and any difference in rates between the old and new rates, plus an additional processing fee of R2,287.

If cancelling less than 60 days before arrival, may choose to forfeit 30% of the booking total; or choose another suitable date subject to availability, plus an additional processing fee of R2,287 and the difference (if any) between the old and new rates.

Reservation cancelations made more than 60 days prior to check in will receive a deposit refund - less a processing fee of R2,287.
The above cancellation penalties apply to voluntary, guest-initiated cancellations only. Cancellations or modifications due to Force Majeure Events (as defined in the Force Majeure section) or other external disruptions (e.g., flight cancellations, road closures, or natural disasters) are not considered guest-initiated and will be handled as follows:

No refunds will be issued, but 7 Star Lodges may offer rescheduling or a credit voucher at its discretion, subject to availability and without additional fees (rate differences may apply).

Guests are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering such events, including trip cancellation, interruption, and inaccessibility due to weather or infrastructure issues. Proof of insurance may be requested at booking. 7 Star Lodges is not responsible for reimbursing guests for insurance premiums or claims.

Accessibility to the lodge is deemed available if at least one public road route remains open, even if primary routes are restricted or travel is delayed. Guests are responsible for arranging alternative transportation and bear the risk of travel disruptions

Tariff excludes specialized laundry and off property excursions. In the event of disruptions to included activities (e.g., safaris) due to weather, natural events, or Force Majeure, 7 Star Lodges reserves the right to substitute, modify, or cancel such activities without refund or compensation. Alternative on-property activities may be offered where possible. Guests acknowledge that outdoor activities are weather-dependent and no guarantees are made regarding their availability
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters (such as floods, storms, or fires), pandemics, epidemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, strikes, terrorism, or disruptions to utilities, transportation, or infrastructure ("Force Majeure Event").
In the event of a Force Majeure Event affecting the lodge's ability to provide the booked services (including access to the property or included activities), 7 Star Lodges may, at its discretion: - Suspend or cancel the booking without liability for refunds; - Offer to reschedule the booking to alternative dates, subject to availability, without additional fees (though rate differences may apply); or - Provide a credit voucher for future use, valid for 12 months.
Guests will not be entitled to a refund in such cases, except where required by applicable law. 7 Star Lodges will notify affected guests promptly and provide reasonable assistance with insurance claims. This clause does not affect guests' rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

Proprietary Rights
7 Star Lodges owns the content including the graphics, names, text, software, page layout, design, processes, procedures, logic flow or other material contained in the website and our property. No one may copy, reproduce, distribute in any way, decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the site content. Modification of 7 Star Lodges’ content in any prohibited way is a violation of copyright and other proprietary rights.
No Misappropriation or Misuse of Names, Marks, other Proprietary Material
You agree not to use, misuse or misappropriate any brand names, trademarks, service marks, patents, images, text or other proprietary material or content of another on or through the website. If you use such proprietary material or content, by doing so, you warrant that you have the rights and authority to do so.
Confidentiality
Every guest at 7 Star Lodges must not, without the prior written approval of the other party, disclose the other party’s Confidential Information. A party is not in breach of this paragraph in circumstances where it is legally compelled to disclose the other party’s Confidential Information. Despite any other provision of this paragraph, 7 Star Lodges may disclose the terms of a guest’s preference to its related parties and escrow agents as required to ensure the provision of the services to a guest but must ensure that every person to whom that disclosure is made solely for the purposes of advising or reporting to 7 Star Lodges.
Links and Advertisers
This Site may contain links to third party sites including contractors, contracted to provide services to 7 Star Lodges. 7 Star Lodges is not responsible for the condition or the content of those sites. The link(s) are provided solely for your convenience and do not indicate, expressly or impliedly, any endorsement of the site(s) or the products or services provided there. You access those sites and use their products and services solely at your own risk. 7 Star Lodges does not represent that the content or services available from third party sites are appropriate or available for use in all places or under all conditions. If you access other content or services from third party sites, 7 Star Lodges is not responsible for your compliance with local laws or other applicable laws.

You agree that in relation to access to the Site or Services, 7 Star Lodges does not, nor does any other party, make any warranty as to the accuracy or reliability of the services and website. As a user of the services and website, you should make your own enquiries before using our services and website. To the extent permitted by law, 7 Star Lodges and its employees... exclude all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect, special, or consequential loss) arising from the use of, or reliance upon the website, services, or property, including but not limited to disruptions caused by Force Majeure Events, travel delays, or inaccessibility. Guests assume all risks associated with travel to and from the property. Star Lodges does not accept responsibility for any liability in respect of access to other content through the use of the website.
Indemnity
You must indemnify and hold harmless 7 Star Lodges or its employees contractors and agents and keep them indemnified, against all loss, actions, proceedings, costs, expenses (including legal fees), claims and damages arising from:

any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions; or

reliance by you on any information obtained through your access and/or use of website and services.
Nature of Agreement
These Terms and Conditions are the entire and only agreement between you and 7 Star Lodges and supersede any prior or other understandings, representations or warranties including, but not limited to, any purchase orders, service agreements, invoices or other Terms and Conditions that you may provide to us in respect of the website or services. You agree that each use of the services and the website reaffirms your acknowledgement and agreement to the most current version of these Terms and Conditions.
General Provisions
The failure by 7 Star Lodges to enforce any right or provision under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision of these Terms and Conditions. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions remain in full force and effect.
Applicable Law
The Site (excluding any linked third party sites) and services are controlled by 7 Star Lodges. By accessing the website and using the services, you accept that any disputes about the website and services or the content are to be determined by the courts having jurisdiction in South Africa. This site may be accessed throughout South Africa and overseas. 7 Star Lodges makes no representation that the content of the website or provision of the services complies with the laws (including intellectual property laws) of any country outside South Africa. If you access this site from outside South Africa, you do so on your own responsibility and are responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws in the place where you are located.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiations between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to mediation under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA) before any legal action. This does not limit rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable laws.
