How Long to Stay

More time. A deeper safari.

Two or three nights gives you a wonderful safari. Five or more gives you Oase. The walking, the river, the long day in Kruger, the slow afternoons and the things nobody plans.

Choosing your stay

There is no wrong answer. There is only how much of Oase you would like to take home.

3 Nights

A taste of the extraordinary

Three nights give you a wonderful introduction to Oase. You will experience our private reserve, enjoy game drives, great food and the lodge, and begin to feel the rhythm of safari life.

4–5 Nights

Our recommended stay

With four or five nights you have time to really settle in. This allows for a mix of activities — game drives, walking, leopard tracking, a full-day Kruger safari and time to relax at the lodge. Most of our guests feel this is the ideal length of stay.

6+ Nights

A deeper, richer experience

Stay a week or longer and the safari transforms. You will explore more of Kruger, enjoy a wider range of activities, discover the smaller details that make Africa so special and have time to simply be. Many of our most memorable guest experiences happen after day five.
